SOCIETIES ORDER 1920

 

By His Excellence Sir Reginald Edward Stubbs Knight of the Most Distinguished Order of Saint Michael and St. Gorge Governor and Command in Chief of the Colony of Hongkong and its Dependencies and Vice-Admiral of the same, in Council.

Whereas it has been made to appear to me with the advice of the Executive Council of the Colony of Hongkong that the society known as the Chinese Seaman’s Union（中華海員工業聯合總會） is being used and is likely to be used for purposes incompatible with the peace and good order of the Colony:

Now therefor I Sir Reginald Edward Stubbs with the advice of the said Executive Council do hereby declare the Society to be an unlawful society.

Give under my hand and the Public Seal of Hongkong this 1st day February 1922.

1920年社團命令

 

發出者：卓越的雷金納德˙愛德華˙史塔士爵士，榮獲最高榮譽聖米高及聖喬治騎士勛章，香港殖民地及其屬地總督兼總司令以及該區副海軍上將。

在香港殖民地議政局的建議下，本人認為中華海員工業聯合總會正在被利用，而且很可能被用於不符合以下規定的目的，殖民地的和平與良好秩序：

因此，本人雷金納德˙愛德華˙史塔士爵士在上述議政局的建議下，特此宣布該工會是一個非法社團。

 

1922 年 2 月 1 日，在本人的下屬和香港公章下頒布。
